Leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills both oral and written, need to be constantly demonstrable to those who report to them. A complete and comprehensive understanding of their roles in assisting both the vision and mission of the organization is critical, along with promoting the required culture to their subordinates.
We recommend a 360° or personal assessment be completed in order to allow The Focus Group coach to understand how the supervisor or manager is perceived by others, and relate this to the vision, mission, and behaviours required by the organization.
One-on-one coaching and mentoring is then introduced to eliminate any shortfalls, and provide ongoing development and improved practices over a period of time to be agreed.
The result will be a closer collaboration with every individual with whom they interact to the benefit of themselves, the organization and the bottom line.
