The Focus Group/CPI views the area of Performance Management as a critical foundation for anyone serious about retaining talent and growing high performing teams. Our experience shows that whilst this concept is easily understood - it is infinitely more difficult for organizations and individuals to deliver. The work we do in the area of Performance Management is designed to move organizations toward becoming high performing communities where everyone understands how their individual efforts align with the business strategy and accepts the need to be accountable for driving their own and their team's performance on a day-to-day basis. Our work in this area involves us working in partnership with our clients to customize initiatives to meet their specific needs and deliverables.

As an alternative to the traditional 'Performance Review' we sometimes recommend the use of a 360° assessment. These on line instruments are customized to meet individual needs in specific areas, and ask appropriate questions from the candidate him/herself, their supervisor, two or three peers, and two or three subordinates in an anonymous and totally secure environment.
